On October 3, 2018, Lisa took a spontaneous trip to Seattle, Washington with her brother, Patrick. There, she met Andrew, a typical Amazon tech bro. They didn't know at the time, but both Andrew and Lisa were immediately drawn to each other but refused to make a move. And after a few days of endless cups of Rachel's Ginger Beer, sightseeing, and 1 tragic game of mini golf, she left Seattle, never expecting to see Andrew again.

Until November 21, a month later, for the first time in 4 years, Lisa came home for Thanksgiving, and found herself seated next to Andrew at Friendsgiving dinner. He had just moved back to San Jose. They spent the night arguing over bad basketball bets, brake calipers, and avoiding being subjected to drinking plastic bottle alcohol.
